Excellence Every Day represents an MGH commitment to providing the highest quality,
safest care that meets or exceeds all standards set by the hospital and external organizations.
As we prepare to care for our patients every day—and for regulatory reviews and Magnet redesignation—it is important for every member of the MGH community to be familiar with key sets of information.
Each month, the Excellence Every Day (EED) web portal focuses on a specific topic or theme, such as :
- Central Lines
- Disabilities
- Fall Prevention
- Pain
- Patient Education and Health Literacy
- Pressure Ulcers
- Professional Development , and
- Restraints
The goal is to provide staff with “one stop shopping” access to a variety of critical and related resources. Topics remain “live” and are regularly updated for future reference. Links to the Collaborative Governance, Magnet and Regulatory Readiness sites help integrate the strategic work being done throughout the hospital.
