Connell Postdoctoral Fellowship in Nursing Research

Training program overview:
This is a unique opportunity for early-career nurse researchers within two years of completing a PhD degree (graduation year 2022 or 2023) to receive postdoctoral training at one of the leading hospital-based research programs in the United States.

The fellowship provides developmental support and resources to advance nursing research in:

Symptom Science in Adults- including the identification of symptoms and symptom management in the context of acute and chronic illnesses among diverse populations.
*Applicants with an interest in women’s health and women living with HIV strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants with an interest in nutrition and obesity research also encouraged.

The training program includes a dedicated mentor and a didactic curriculum that is sponsored by the Yvonne L. Munn Center for Nursing Research and the MGH Division of Clinical Research Education. The program’s overall objective is to cultivate expertise among nurses in the conduct of clinical studies that will improve patient care delivery.
